the limited collection will be available at mango stores in April 2007
millla will appear in the ads...

ive heard there will be 10 dresses.
unfortunately my area wont get a mango store until late summer.

i'm curious to see what they come up with...
is mango available to purchase online?

Have any of you guys seen the Jovovich Hawk collection on Net-a-porter? There's this one navy stripe dress with a bow tie at the neck. It's dope! I hope the collection for Mango is as good, so I can save a few bucks...

ehh but why would you want to? Sorry but a LOT of mango stuff has a bad fit (not just bad but VERY small) and not so hot quality. I'll be interested to see what they do but I can't imagine it being that great.

somehow not excited about this at all. mango is just missing that certain something that "je ne sais quoi" that most other high street brands have been starting to do so well..
as you said meg, it doesnt have a good fit and often i find its very cheap looking..
wonder what this will be like.

exactly leyla. there are better high street brands out there doing more interesting things.

i usually don't like mango stuff. but we'll have to wait and see....maybe its good?

it's all going down from now.. like their stuff didn't look cheap enough..

Actually, I like Mango!! So can't wait Mila's collection!!!!

I like Jovovich-Hawk's outlook and general character so I'm hoping their work for Mango will be similar to their personality.

Mango launches designer range with Jovovich-Hawk

Spanish fashion chain Mango is launching a range of dresses designed by Mango face and supermodel Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk.
The upscale capsule collection of 10 summer dresses will debut on April 15 and launch in-store under the name Jovovich-Hawk for MNG collection.
The designs are described as standing out for their quirkiness and unique style with key looks including dresses with a clear nod to the 60s but with a romantic feel.
The line will feature graphic printed dresses, pretty A-line dresses in slinky jerseys, silk georgette or taffeta dresses and vintage-style cotton dresses in navy, magenta, gold and black. The range covers relaxed casualwear styles through to more sophisticated eveningwear styles.
Milla Jovovich also continues to be the face of Mango for its spring/summer 2007 ad campaign.
The Jovovich-Hawk for MNG collection follows the Spanish retailer's collaboration with Lebanese couture designer Zuhair Murad that launched last year and was distributed in Mango's UAE stores only.

I've no idea about this one either. The corporate website is not updated and the press releases are older ones. That's bad for the industry and for bloggers like me who rely on the releases.

I agree, I've never once bought anything from Mango for that exact reason - even their stretch Ts don't fit which is unusual because I usually find stretch wear fits me really well from most stores :/

here's one image from informativos.net. the information in spanish there said it would be out april 15th including the stores in the USA.

i had really good luck with mango. i used to buy it quite a lot when i lived in spain. so i'm excited to see more of this collection. i plan to purchase a few things online.
