Gatti is one of the most prestigious spanish fashion photograghers. I "discovered" him thanks to this editorial which I loved.

I have the vogue issue where the first appeared on and, yes, it says it was inspired in Blow up. I don't usually love his work in Vogue spain, it's OK but not fantastic, but sometimes there are exceptions.

beautiful. yppe, have you seen the movie cul-de-sac by roman polanski? the girl in the movie looks identical to the first girl you posted-makeup/ hair...it is in black and white too.

Juan Gatti

i recently read an interview with him and i loved his points of view on fashion then i found him in mfilomeno and realized i've seen a lot of his work (his posters for Almodovar being the memorable ones), he was art director for Italian Vogue during the 80s..I'm still not sure about his photographs, i like most of them but i dont think i've seen enough to make a real conclusion :D . anyway..i decided to make this thread so i can hear people's opinions about him :)

i read also an interview with him in the current "acnepaper" issue. his work for vogue italia made this magazine so special in the early 90s.
