Julien Macdonald S/S 2018 London | the Fashion Spot

Julien Macdonald S/S 2018 London

I like it! I have a soft spot for this kind of Cavalli/Versace tackiness. It's better then the trash that Vaccarello used to get praised for. This looks very well made. This collection will please his customers.

Tacky, trashy, and sexy, but very well done for that look. I really like that black fringed gown with the entire torso cut out, boob slings and all.

What i like about it is the fact that it's very honest and very well made. I also have a soft spot for Cavalli but i think Cavalli was a little more refined and sophisticated in terms of taste and references.
Cavalli early 00's were a total mess (in a good way). In the same collection, he referenced Vionnet, Balenciaga, YSL and at the same time, had a lot of techniques and sexy dresses.

This is very focused...Maybe too much of the same thing but i can appreciate that.
The menswear could have been a little bit more ambitious.

Sometimes, it's hard to believe that Mac Donald was discovered and used to work with Karl at Chanel.

I love Roberto Cavali so of course I'm all over this. The execution wasn't so great, but it was fun to see the look on the runway again. The menswear was awful.

I'll always appreciate his dedication to trashy glamour, Peter Dundas would be proud.

This looks like Cavalli x Versace x Pucci by Peter Dundas x Balmain and this last one is already tacky LOL

^That is exactly what I thought, but is not bad. He should hire better models not enough with Alessandra and Martha.

its like a mix of Cavalli and Dundas Pucci but not as appealing as either
