I've never been impressed with Julian Macdonald's collections, which always makes me wonder how on earth he was appointed to design for a house like Givenchy...

versace is stupid for not offering him whatever he asks to revitalize their brand...no one captures this exuberance in a realistic way like macdonald...although from the pictures posted i do see heavy galliano influence...

mike, glad to see I'm not the only one!! This collection, while nice looking clothes, really screams Dior at me with tiny bits of Chloe and Marc Jacobs f/w '04 in little splashes here and there. I've seen better and I've seen worse.

the red dress was absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!

i never knew this until i watched the news.....but the silver dress was covered in £2 million of diamonds

It's an improvement for him, which isn't saying much, but still it's better then his usual stuff. Not loving the big frou-frou skirts, but the color is refreshing.
