Designer Julien Macdonald seems comfortable as the center of media attention. First he announced he was leaving Givenchy couture. Now he is apparently taking his namesake line out of England and over to Milan in what is described as an attempt to raise his profile globally. The move will devastate rapidly shrinking London Fashion Week, which has already lost U.K. design stars John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan, and Stella McCartney to overseas opportunities.

i think he should remain in the uk coz thats where his work stands out.Milan is especially dangerous since everyone there does stuff like his except some are better.though judging from his latest collection he may just have found a new style
