^There are quite of talented indivuals showing at fashion week but somehow every season they get overshadowed by something else.

NY Fashion week, perhaps?

my my!! For some reason can you believe that this is the first time i had seen this.. out of it or what!?! I have worked for Julien, and he is a nice bloke really, but his comment would have definately have angered Peta. Plus, i think that he is still sponsored by Saga Furs isnt he? However, i can promise you that he would have only have seen this as more publicity. I'm not surprised by the state of the collection. When i was worked for him i was shocked at the rush job that he did when they were behind... dresses coming away at the seams backstage and wuickly being repaired with tacking.. so no real surprise that yet again he's produced this standard...

why Julien why?????i usually like what he does and find him talented but what a disapointement this show was for me, i can t believe he s behind these hideous designs. i think he needs to re-learn what fashion really is and that people want wearable things not summer salad looking dresses.

Yes, in a nutshell: that is why Peta is there :flower:

But honestly (aside from the fact that I think rabidly storming runways, even such bad runways, is incredibly rude) given that there doesn't seem to be any fur in this particular collection, disrupting this show seems a bit ridiculous :ninja:
Yes, but do they get to see the collection beforehand? I don't think PETA knows if the designer will use fur in his/her collection but simply protest because the designer has used fur in the past.

^ i agree, they don´t do it just if the show will feature fur, they do it if the designer works with it, or model (gisele at victoria´s secret) or if they have fur collections as i read julian started last fall.
