how were the prices of the jeans softie??

there are blk faded ones and dark denim ones...both for men and women...
49.90 euros...
59.90 dollars...

:woot: :flower:

apparently the prices are about 20% higher than regular h&m prices...
(as predicted right here on tfs inan earlier thread... :flower: )

 thats so cheap!
dum dum dum im gonna rock ya body till the break of dawn....dance with meee

im getting super ready to shop now

$60 for the jeans?! Nice!!!!

I am excited. I didn't even consider the sweaters and such. I was so focused out the outerwear. If the jeans are cut slim and straight, i wonder of the outerwear is cut slim as well. I just want that double breasted coat to be slimmmmmmmmmmmmm

i'm so psyched. I'm hitting up the boston HM way early.

oh, forgot to ask... hows the quality of the stuff?? Thats a big question that i have.

quality is better than usual...as i said ...all the womens stuff is silk...'the blzrs and coats are wool...the contrast zip cardigans are merino wool...no acrylic here...
yay!!!

Just survived H&M! Thought it would be quiet: NOT! Even here it was very busy and hysteric, within half an hour everything was almost finished. Only big sizes were left and the turtle necks. Quality is better than usual and nicely tailored. The men's collection looked good on the guys fitting it. The jackets are quite a relieve compared to the usual H&M taloring. Some items even had a dash of colour but IMHO not very succesful at that. The semi transparant top with the white collar was the best seller here, and the jackets. All in all I managed to get my hands in some piece which I will try on later today, some are very likely to be returned... but that's the good thing about H&M: no good? Money back! Never saw such a fashionable crowd at H&M before.

PS we really had a laugh when the H&M staff had to wrap the clothes in paper, they were very clumsy at it and took way too long.

omg, this morning h&m was a complete madhouse :o . i was there about 9:45 and there was so many people. and when the speaker said: "it's now 10 o'clock" at least 50 middle-aged women stormed h&m in their mink furs and grabbed all they could. i'm tiny and fast so i just tried to keep calm and see what i could get. i got two pairs of jeans, they fit me very, very well. also got a black georgette dress and a sweater.

oh, and i couldn't get my hands on that liquid karl. dammit  :P

I was at school, but my mum picked up a bunch of great things

which dress did you get?...i got the layered one in burgundy... :flower:

man that sucks people went so early :( anyone in Chicago know whether it is better to go to the Michigan Ave or State Street H&M?

I'm heading off to opening here this morning, although I'm not really in the mood for going... I've also made a conscious decision to leave my debit card behind, because a) I don't have money to spend anymore, b ) it'll likely be junk as usual and c) I know that I'll want to buy it anyhow. Still going though, we'll see if it's what I expect it to be.

It was about time a new Fashion Hype would start!

Just in my mailbox:

Dear Iconique Visitors,

You survived the Lagerfeld mania this morning? It's time to customize your t-shirt and show your adoration! Or... make a new one to wear underneath that nice jacket you bought!

This classic Iconique design is available again:

This suggestion is not affiliated to H&M, just some simple fashion fun.

H&M is cashing in, this is the best PR they've had in years!

I've just got back - it was pretty packed in there, i bought a black pleated silk blouse.

I tried practically everything on, but this was the best fit - the shirts looked wrong on me, because they don't do the Lagerfeld in my usual size so they were too big grr!

I was so tempted to buy some liquid karl hahaha, but i just couldn't bring myself too - oh the humiliation!

Seeing the h&m staff wrap the clothes in paper was hillarious they were all so clumsy handed.

I doubt they'll be anything left by the end of the day eek!

yeah, i had that thought too. the woman before me in the line bought for around $1000 and it took the SA like 15min to wrap it all op in that paper and put the gold stickers on. a bit ridiculous ...

well you guys will be surprised because I got there about 10 minutes after H&M opened and there was hardly anyone there. only a few people who were very hardcore fashionistas. despite there not being many people there, the smallest sizes went first - I was happy because I managed to get the last little black pleated blouse in my size...so cute ^_^ I did feel that things were too oversized...I, and some other girls in the dressing room, were complaining that our usual sizes seemed too big. vanity sizing sucks. I also got the karl tee shirt - don't ask me why, it's terribly tacky and not me at all, but the idea of karl on a tee shirt was too cheeky to pass up.
couldn't afford the dresses (I have way too many party dresses to buy another) but they were gorgeous. the black satin cocktail dress was darling, and I was pleased to see that it actually was lined and stiff, just like in the photos.

all in all, very good mood - everyone at the shop seemed to be in heaven over the collection - lots of cooing and oohing and hoarding.

This is the one I bought:

Some of the stuff were way too big. Like the white t-shirt with karls picture on. And many of the tops and dresses. I bought the smallest sizes and still they were a little big

Yes, the sizes were very big. I bought the T-shirt in xs, but that was because I wanted it to be a little big, even the xxs was a little big
