KK is always one of the best dressed at the MET Gala, two of my favorites are the blue Marchesa gown in 2014 and the "I Love You" Viktor & Rolf dress from 2005.

I'm SO EXCITED for tonight!!! Can't wait to see what everyone wears.

I'm especially psyched to see Karolina Kurkova, who is my favourite and who always delivers a MET Gala moment.

They're keeping the "reveal" a secret, but if you dig around a bit you can see that KK is going to be wearing Marchesa. And it's going to be EPIC. She worked with them on the design and it's a collaboration with IBM to make a #cognitivedress There are a couple of videos on Marchesa and IBM's instagram accounts. Here are some pics.

I don't know if it is just me, but I feel KK does not get the recognition and respect she deserves. She was huge for years, took a little break and worked her way back the hard way. She has achieved so much, is unique and still so very gorgeous... She deserves more!!!! She truly is an icon, on my perspective she is right next to Gisele, but maybe I am living in memories Those girls, among few others along the years, got me into high fashion and modeling. They made me want to know who they are and what fashion actually is. I don't even remember when was the last time a campaign or runway model enticed me that way. Maybe sometime between 2005-2007

I mean, Carmen Kass has 30k followers on Instagram (Karolina has almost 500k) and she was arguably bigger than KK in high fashion and definitely had a much longer HF career than her. Vlada Roslyakova only has 50k and everyone was obsessed with her in the late 2000s. And I can probably dig up many more examples.

You slip out of the spotlight for a bit and the world just forgets about you...

Carmen actually belongs to the group of late 90s supermodels who were sandwiched between the Kate, Amber, Shalom generation and the Gisele, Angela generation. Sadly, the only girls who are really still relevant from that generation in terms of being known are Alek Wek and Carolyn Murphy.

I wouldn't say that Carmen was necessarily bigger than Karolina. If you run down their resume its basically the same: open VSFS, big 4, vogue model of the year. It's more that Karolina went commercial for a while and had health issues.

Hmm... not my favourite look, actually.

Don't like the hair and makeup that way. That kind of grey smokey eye doesn't do KK any favours. The dress is pretty - but it's a little too loose on the bust and the belt is a bit too tight.

She still looks fantastic, don't get me wrong. And she carries the outfit with confidence and poise and elegance as she always does.

KK can wear quirky punchy prints better than anybody. She slays when she experiments!
