there are SEVERAL reports that she attended the Valentino HC show... though i have yet to actually see a photo of her appearance. i had hoped, and inferred from the articles, that she was meant to be in the show, along with Eva H, Karen Mulder, Nadja, Claudia, etc. here's the article. hopefully someone else can find some info RE: her appearance, since she was clearly not in the actual runway show.

Today's Valentino show - the designer's final adieu - continues to dominate the schedule, however. While Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer, Nadja Auermann, Karolina Kurkova and Karen Mulder will be returning to the catwalk for him, Carla Bruni has turned the gig down, claiming she is too busy to fit it in, owing to the whirlwind of hype surrounding her wedding to French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

I think it was false reporting because Eva,Claudia, and Nadja were there but they were part of the audience, and looking at the finale I would think if the rest of the girls were there they would have been in front and they arn't. So either she wasn't there IMO or she was in the audience

yep!

it's from a christmas catalogue a few years ago. maybe as early as 2002. i'm not exactly sure.

here are a few new KK VS pics from bellazon. i really love her hair when it's straight like that. it's just SO sexy! flatters her face perfectly! enjoy!












and that pic in the yellow, where she's leaning forward and the hair is sorta blowing in her face --- that pic is just TOO beautiful! it could be the cover of the SI swimsuit issue. (*if the lighting were slightly different and the swimsuit were different. but the pose and her face are perfect. *)

does anyone think she'll actually finally be IN the SI Swimsuit Issue this year?! i can only imagine that the reason she hasn't been is because of her VS contract. but it seems the VS people have let Selita, so perhaps they'd let KK as well.

oooooh, also, now that Gisele has officially no contract with VS whatsoever ... i wonder if she'd do the SI issue..? i imagine she'd stipulate that she would need the cover. the status of that magazine has really really dropped in recent years. i honestly think that the Rebecca Romijn cover was the very last year where the SI Swimsuit Issue actually made a supermodel's career.

The events start on Friday, Adriana is hosting all of them but the other girls are helping her out (Karolina, Izabel, and Selita) will host makeover gift suites on Friday and Saturday then Saturday night they will have the Pre-game superbowl party, and then on the 9th Adriana will be hosting an hour long special on E! I'm sure Karolina will be somewhere in the special.

So I was thinking of SI swimsuit edition this morning, and wishing that Karolina and Adriana would be in it (IMO the best Angels VS has ever had and they still don't promote them as they should) Anyway I was thinking why in the world would they not have been in it, considering besides Gisele both are very famous and would send catalogs flying off the shelves. I mean just look at Karolina and Adriana's track record both of them hold records for sales of magazine covers...so I thought how in the hell does this make sense. So I was looking over some old SI images and it hit me. What if SI is just a bit to vulgar for the VS contact, and it only recently came into effect. (like since Tyra and Heidi did it) SI is famous for their body painting, and tasteful kind of nudity and their see through outfits, which made me wonder if VS just has a very strict moral clause. If you look at Selita's images they are very PG for what the rest of the SI girls have, and I was thinking maybe it has something to do with that. It sure would explain a WHOLE lot. Just MO thought.

interesting idea, CC. i always presumed they were just very strict with their contracts. that their Top Angels wouldn't be able to do so much work for other American companies. Remember how Adriana couldn't do VS makeup because of her contract with Maybelline? they probably don't want their big girls doing a competing Swimsuit magazine. Selita's contract might not be as tight or valuable as Adriana/KK/Ale/Gisele (when she was with them). that's why she was able to do SI.

if you look on the VS website, you'll see that neither Selita, Adriana or KK are featured on the swimsuit page. (*with the exception of just a few pics*). i'm hoping this means that they'll be in the SI issue!!

No it doesn't not even 1/3 of the swimsuit 2008 pictures are out, there are 2 other swimsuit catalogs coming out, along with about 200 other swimsuits in the swimsuit section. VS does it in sections, not all at once. They ALWAYS do that, when I talked with a rep to Vs today when I was ordering some stuff I asked and they said there swimsuits wouldn't all be out until about the end of May!!! SO Karolina and Adriana have a LOT of pictures coming!

Also the swimsuits being different designers doesn't matter, because unlike VS's lingerie their swimsuits are NOT all made by them they sell many designers swimwear. So I'm sure that is not it, I'd bet a lot of money that it's a morality clause.
