i just got back from oxford street about an hour ago, got in the store about half 10 even though our wristband said we were due in at 10. i think towards the end of the night they scrapped they idea of chucking people out after 20 minutes which would explain the hold-up. ANYWAY!!! i bought the gold disc waistcoat which is AMAZING seriously, such a unique item, i'm truly in love with it, also the floral day dress which is a very small fit, very snug but makes a very flattering shape, i got a blue silky see-through kind of dress that is beautiful and one of the K t-shirts in red. anyone wondering about the fit of items, they do run quite small. but in a good way, i'm a size 8 and like my clothes to be fairly tight (not overly obvious, but a good fit) and that is exactly what i got from the items. i queued for 2 hours, much less than i expected, i wasn't even planning on attending the launch but i was visiting my dad in london for dinner and he said he'd treat me hehe. for those searching for that beautiful white dress that you were all raving about, it's not actually going to be out for another 2 weeks yet i'm afraid... but anyway, i am SOOOOO happy with the items. the whole line is fantastic and very kate xx

i'm sorry i wish i could get a photo for you but i left my camera at my parents house!! i'll explain for you, pictures don't quite do it justice, it is rather heavy because of all the metal discs attached to it, it definitely stood out to me as soon as i entered the store, probably my favourite purchase, i'm getting a bit excited about all the outfits i can put it with, the discs are only on the front, the back is a beige thick cotton material... i don't know what else to say for it really!

all i saw of shoes were some flat gladiator style sandals and some high heel pointed court shoes. if i'm honest, the shoes didn't really catch my eye too much and i found it difficult to find them around the shop unfortunately... i looked out for the boots that were promised but couldn't see them. maybe i wasn't looking hard enough!! it was all rather manic. but shoes i did spot were nothing to get excited about really...

@zara: Hi, how is the sizing compared to continental European sizing? 36/38 (at least what tags say in Germany)- which size should I choose for the navy/ ultramarine (?) blue chiffon dress and the gold disc waistcoast- do you have any recommendations? Did you see a scarf made out of sequins or discs- I must have seen it somewhere or I dreamt it ... Maybe that scarf (if it existed) wouldn't be so obviously Kate?!? I like the white dress though...
