not sure i believe it.
vogue.comKate Moss, Henry Holland, Jamie Winstone and Sadie Frost have all put pen-to-paper to draw one of London's best loved attractions. Iconic London landmark The London Eye today celebrates its tenth anniversary and to mark the occasion have recruited a host of celebrities to design a bespoke range of illustrations.
A total of ten celebrities have loaned their creative talents to the cause including actor Dominic West and TV presenter Fiona Phillips. The proceeds of all prints sold will go to Guy's and St Thomas' Charity to support the Evelina Children's Hospital.
"These bespoke illustrations are the perfect way to mark the London Eye turning ten and what's even better, is that we can raise money for one of the capital's most treasured facilities too," said David Sharpe, director of London Medway Attractions.
The bespoke celebrity prints are available from the London Eye retail outlets onsite and will be sold for £5.00.
KATE MOSS and Topshop are ending their three-year design partnership. October will see Moss' final full collection for the high street store, with a series of smaller capsule ranges going forward.
"We've honed it down to a smaller base," says Arcadia boss Philip Green. "She's [Moss] done brilliantly well, but to produce these collections takes time, real time. We thought it would be better to go forward with something smaller. That's a better way forward."
Topshop plans on re-launching a selection of Moss' most popular design pieces from her first collection followed by smaller, capsule ranges comprising 12 - 15 items, two to three times a year.
"That will be easier for us, we'll do something fun," Green tells WWD.
I know, I don't think her collections were that bad, but after the first one the prices got almost insaneSome pieces I liked a great deal so its a shame but highly priced so never bought anything.
mirror.co.ukEverything you need to know about newlywed Kate Moss
Model Kate Moss has married her long-term partner Jamie Hince.
Kate, 36, went barefoot and wore a see-through white gown for the low-key ceremony in Sicily. Only close friends and family saw her tie the knot with rock guitarist Jamie, 40.
A source said: "It was quiet - but still very romantic."
---------
Only Kate Moss.
Barefoot, see-through dress (happily no VPL), minimal make-up and a foreign clime – only Mossy could put on such a wedding.
A modern-day Taming of the Shrew, I never thought I’d see the day this enigmatic, Croydon-born supermodel would walk down the aisle.
But lanky, long-limbed rocker Jamie Hince has gone and done it – he’s persuaded Kate to give up her wild ways, and commit to him. For ever.
The couple, who met in September 2007, chose to wed in a small, picturesque church on the Mediterranean island of Sicily, away from all prying eyes.
With only their closest friends in attendance, and Mossy’s daughter Lila Grace acting as one of three ring bearers, the whole day was relaxed, simple and, for Kate and Jamie, perfect.
I’m told: “Kate’s had a fairly turbulent love life but she’s a romantic at heart.
“The plans were kept very quiet as Kate wanted the day to be low-key and purely a celebration of their love.
“She’s never been one for convention or tradition, but Jamie’s been there for her through thick and thin, and she simply felt the time was right.
“They planned the day for weeks and were so excited. Kate didn’t want a stuffy, formal do, but something spiritual.
“Minutes after tying the knot, the giggling newlyweds were outside the church, dancing under trees.”
As you do.
Adds the source: “Afterwards locals from the village were milling about, joining in the festivities. It was an incredibly happy day.”
While the couple, who got engaged on Kate’s 36th birthday in January, are deeply in love, it’s fair to suggest the path to August 7 hasn’t been without its bumps.
Introduced by mutual friend Sadie Frost backstage at one of The Kills’ gigs, their nights out have been hit by frequent reported rows.
Two years ago they had a three-day split after Kate threw Jamie out of her home. He was seen dejectedly dragging his suitcases along the pavement outside her London property.
But the rocker has grown exceedingly close to Lila Grace, and has helped Mossy calm down her partying.
Knowing Kate, marriage won’t change her – but it will provide some much-needed stability.
A toast to the bride and groom...
telegraph.co.ukIt was reported that the couple held a wedding on the island of Sicily in July this year.
However, an employee if the 36 year-old supermodel told the Daily Mail that she is "definitely not married".
'Any implication she is... is factually incorrect,' she added.
A tabloid newspaper reported on Friday morning that Miss Moss had married her boyfriend, who is in the band The Kills, at a church on the Italian island and that she went barefoot and wore a see-through dress.
Her daughter Lila Grace was said to have been a ring bearer, according to a report in the Daily Mirror.
The pair did spend two weeks in Tuscany and on the Aeolian Islands this summer. They have been dating since 2007 and both have recently been seen wearing rings on their wedding ring fingers.
They were introduced by Sadie Frost following one of Hince's gigs, and got engaged on Moss's 36th birthday in January.
