Oddly enough, Kate is the one supermodel who is still living the "supermodel lifestyle."
She does campaigns for Burberry, Cavalli and Dior, hangs out with rockstars, is in the gossip columns, and on the cover of magazines (most recently British Vogue if I remember correctly).
Perhaps this is why she seems to be the only model from the 90's who is still going strong? I whole heartedly agree with a comment made above, Kate still has better campaigns than any other model today.
Supermodels are definitely not what they used to be. Karolina Kurkova might of made $5,000,000 one year, but the general public still doesn't know who she is.
For better or worse, most people know who Kate Moss is. Whether it is their distaste for her still-thin body, or admiration for being a style icon, I think that all the press surrounding her campaigns with CK have still etched her into the public's consciousness.
As a guy myself, I enjoy seeing her in campaigns and editorials, however I don't have any sexual yearnings for her. Models like Kate, Devon, Linda, etc. provoke feelings of artistic admiration, cosidering just how stunning and versatile they are.
Despite her rather unusual features, Kate is practically tailor made for fashion, which again is ironic considering she is a full 3" shorter than the standard height requirement or girls.
Guess it goes to show that sometimes rules are meant to be broken, eh?
