It’s always an adventure at Kate Spade and for resort, chief creative officer Deborah Lloyd went with “the sky’s the limit.” First stop was a trip to Las Vegas, where showgirl feathers came as a print on a boxy brocade dress and the real thing trimmed the sleeves of a T-shirt. She also brought back the brand’s classic nylon bags, here embellished with crystals.
Next Lloyd blasted off to outer space via cloud prints on a full-skirted dress and a dusting of glitter on a coat. Finally, she came down to earth via a hot-air balloon motif on colorful crepes and a charming collared Fifties dress.
