Just saw "Carnage" this week; it's very funny. Kate is great. She does, though, imo, look older than her age of 36. To me, she seems 40 anyhow. It could just be the way she's often styled. Regardless, she still looks gorgeous.

I am not a "Titanic" fan at all. So will remain mute on that.

    Kate Talks Titanic Fashion

We caught up with the Oscar-winner to talk all things Titanic.

With the re-release of the film in 3D, Kate Winslet dishes on her memories of the shoot 15 years earlier.

"I remember everything," she says. "Everything. Down to specific details... what my costumes felt like to run in, to move in."

"How many times I tripped over the train of the black and red dress. The number of antique beads I crushed take after take after take."

It's no secret that the Brit beauty loves a period film - she had the nickname of Corset Kate even before James Cameron's epic hit the big screen - so what's the allure?

"I'm always really intrigued by period film and period costume for men and women and how that looks, and what that does to character," she explains. "I look at those costumes and I know the hard work and planning that went into it."

Squeezing into the film's tightly boned bodices was no mean feat. "Almost every costume was quite difficult for me to wear, but they all looked amazing - every single detail. And the number of women who would work on sewing those beads on or getting the lines of the ribbons right around the waist on the blue outfit," she says. "A lot of thought went into everything."

Although Leonardo DiCaprio was absent from the London premiere, Kate took us down memory lane telling us it took nine takes to film the iconic shot of the two lovers on the bow of the ship at sunset. "And it felt absolutely ridiculous every time."
