Kaya Scodelario has reportedly been blasted by the Brazilian side of her family after she refused to fund care for her sick grandmother Inez Rosemary.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star, 25, has come under fire from her relatives for allegedly not wanting to 'associate with poor people like themselves' - leaving the family to 'pull together' to pay for Inez's care after a series of heart attacks.
The UK-born actress, who was reportedly paid 1.5 million for her role in the successful Pirates film franchise, has also had her refusal to pay up branded as 'unforgivable' by her great aunt Fabiana Moraes, as reported by The Sun On Sunday.
Speaking specifically about Inez's treatment, Fabiana revealed: 'I am disgusted that Kaya could just turn her back on her grandmother when she most needed her.'
She went on to reveal her family's shock after Kaya and her mother allegedly said 'no' to offering financial help - leaving them to fund the unfortunate situation 'without a cent from her millionaire granddaughter.'
'I think the money has gone to her head, and she has forgotten where she came from. She doesnt want to be associated with poor people like us anymore,' it was claimed.
Fabiana then stated: 'In fact, Kaya doesnt even know if her grandmother is still alive or not.
