Pierce Brosnan's wife Keely Shaye Smith is suing a restaurant in Santa Monica after claiming their food made her ill.
According to TMZ, Keely has claimed that after a visit to R & D Kitchen in Santa Monica, California, in October 2009 she was left 'sore, ill and injured'.
It is not clear what food Keely ate while at the restaurant but it's claimed she 'sustained serious and permanent injuries to her health, strength and activity'.
Keely is asking for unspecified damages in the suit.
Mamma Mia star Pierce and Keely married in 2001 and are parents to sons Dylan 14, and Paris, aged ten.
And despite being married for the past 10 years, Pierce said in a recent interview that he is more in love with his wife than ever before - and is never tempted by his many beautiful female co-stars.
He said: 'There are a few ladies out there who capture my heart cinematically. And working with them is one of the perks of my job.
;I can dance the light fantastic with anyone I like on screen but Keely and I both know that what I do there is fantasy not reality and that I hang up my hat and come home to the one I love.
'I was blessed to find my Keely and she's still the only woman for me.'
Pierce is currently in cinemas in I Don't Know How She Does It.
The Sarah Jessica Parker film, about a busy hedge fund manager who struggles to balance work and family life, also stars Greg Kinnear, Christina Hendricks and Olivia Munn.
The 007 star plays Sarah Jessica Parker's business client who also throws temptation away from her chaotic family life.
Speaking last month to Good Morning America, Brosnan said it was 'a delight' to work with Parker again, after Mars Attacks! in 1996. 'We had a great time making the film,' he said.
