How can a mother defend a child who is doing a movie about a woman forced into prostitution at gun point by her violent pimp/husband, forced to learn sword swallowing for Deep Throat, stared in a movie called "Dog F**ker" and had a massive d**g problem.
Why WHY WHY does Lindsay think this is going to revive her career? And I'm still trying to figure out what part of it all is the love story she was talking about?

i dont think there's anything wrong in the role. its timing thats off.

her mother defends her when it comes to everything. like any mother would to the public eye, but shes doing nothing about it otherwise. thats what bugs me.

This hardly needs to be a blind, but which party-hardened tragedy has club owners on high alert for her arrival in town? Seeing she has nothing to promote and no hope of networking, they are pessimistic her itinerary includes much other than heavy-duty partying and they have banded together to exclude her in any way possible - what flies in LA is a different story than in Cannes. Let's hope she gets let in somewhere.. other than McDonalds, that is.

Lindsay Lohan returned to LA from the East Coast last night and went straight back to partying.
After landing in LA and making a pit stop at home, the 23-year-old left her apartment around 10:30 last night and headed straight to the Chateau Marmont. After the Chateau, she and a group of friends went to Drai's night club at the W Hotel in Hollywood where they partied until last call. But the night didn't end there -- Lilo and her entourage headed back to her place at 2:30 for an after-party.

• "Lindsay looked tired but she didn't care. She was hell-bent on partying the night she got back to LA. Just watching her, you get the feeling she lives for going out at night; it doesn't seem like anything else matters to her."

Despite being required to finish up her court-mandated alcohol education classes before her May 20th court date, Lindsay is heading to Cannes.
So not only will she be skipping out on valuable time needed to makeup the classes she's missed, but she's also skipping her uncle's funeral, which is taking place today in New York...

Lindsay Lohan rejects sobriety settlement
Potential jail-bound actress Lindsay Lohan has been offered quite a weird settlement by the three men suing her when she allegedly held them hostage during a drunken car chase down Pacific Coast Highway back in 2007. The lawsuit claims an intoxicated Lohan jumped into a car they were passengers in and took off, chasing another vehicle down PCH. They are suing for emotional distress.

TMZ is now reporting that a lawyer for the men, Randall Billington, had offered Lindsay a deal months ago, asking Lohan for $7.5 million, which would be discounted by 30 percent if she stayed sober for more than two years. When Lohan rejected that deal, another deal was offered by Billington, which asked Lohan to put $3 million in a trust account for 42 months and if she stayed sober for that length of time, a majority of the funds would be given to charity. Lohan has rejected this offer too so the courtroom drama will continue.Lohan also faces jail time stemming from the incompletion of the terms of her probation. Lohan has completed nine of the required 13 alcohol education classes. The judge in the case has made it clear that if she doesn’t show up for court with her classes completed on Wednesday, she is jail bound. As for Lindsay – she’s headed to the Cannes Film Festival – pretty much sealing that deal for doing jail time.
