Karl Lagerfeld has reportedly offered to design Keira Knightley's wedding dress. A Chanel spokesperson declined to comment on the rumours this morning.
The pairing would not be an unlikely one - the 27-year-old actress is currently the face of the label's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. She first became one of Lagerfeld's muses in 2006, replacing Kate Moss as the scent's campaign star.
Knightley is said to have asked fellow Vogue cover girl Alexa Chung to be one of her bridesmaids, along with her sister-in-law, Kerry Nixon - although a spokesperson for the television presenter could not be reached this morning. Chung allegedly introduced the actress to her now-fiancé.
"Keira's so excited and has been planning every last details of the wedding with a little help from Alexa and Kerry," a source told The Mail on Sunday.
Knightley announced news of her engagement to musician James Righton in May this year. No wedding date has yet been confirmed, although rumours suggest that the couple are hoping to tie the knot in spring next year.
