Wow, amazing season! I was skeptical when I saw her card and snaps at Wilhelmina, (her Europe elite cards are MUCH better) but she is really doing an amazing job!

She is actually american, from Hawaii. She came from a modeling school (Barbizon I think) and attended the iPOP convention in LA in January. Every agency there wanted to sign her but she went with Wilhelmina ( I think maybe they offered a contract to the winner so they were able to get her?) Also, her real name is Kaitlin. The nickname is a little weird but I guess it stands out.

Three years ago, our neighbors’ daughter, Katelin Lindgard, had just graduated from Kaaawa Elementary School and entered the 7th grade at Kahuku High & Intermediate School. We saw her a lot as she practiced her basketball skills between our two houses using a hoop mounted on the utility pole at the top of our driveway.

She came over to borrow some photos for her 7th grade science fair project, an environmental study of “Waves v. Tides”.

How things have changed. She would be attending classes as a sophomore at Kahuku this year, except for one thing. She’s traveling.

Here’s what happened. She took a modeling class. Then early this year, she participated in iPOP!, the International Presentation of Performers, an event in Los Angeles where modeling and acting schools send their top students to strut their stuff hoping to be “discovered” by agents.

Long story short: She was named “Ms. iPop!” and signed for a photo shoot in New York.

We heard about all this as we talked with her mom in a neighborly chit-chat out on the dead-end of the road between our houses. Yeah, right, I thought, another modeling school hype. We’ll see.

In a flurry of activity, Katelin has taken off as Keke Lindgard, one of the hot new names on the international modeling scene, flying off to New York, Milan, and Paris to appear on behalf of top names like Guchi, Prada, and Tommy Hilfiger.

as for the showcards, i much prefer digitals on girls where you can see what they look like. the problem with most euro cards is that they show you these crazy retouched images and you can never really tell what the heck the girl looks like! imo i liked the front of her ny showcard best.

after looking at all of these show pictures we can see that she looks just like what the digitals showed... no retouching necessary!
