Kemp
Agency: Elite
Age: 16
Height: 5'9" (and still growing).
Hometown: West Point, NY.
Moment of discovery: By an Elite scout in Atlanta, Georgia.
Favorite thing about modeling: Collaborating with the best designers and editors. What other job would let me ride Andalusian horses, face a bull in the ring, and be serenaded in a music video—all while wearing cool clothes?
Pet peeve about modeling: It can be tough work. Holding awkward poses and making them look natural on film, enduring freezing weather on outside shoots, trying to look cool under hot sweaty lights in the studio, and wearing stilettos that are several sizes too small.
Favorite gadget: My digital camera. I like being on the other side of the lens.
Favorite place to shop: Large bazaars in far-off cities. In Moscow, I bought beautiful nesting dolls, amber jewelry, and a wonderful Russian fur hat. In Bangkok, the best thing I bought lasted only a fleeting moment: birdcage-bound sparrows, which I released into the sky for good karma.
Favorite books: Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time, Homer's The Iliad and The Odyssey, and Ovid's Metamorphoses.
Last three movies you saw: Winged Migration, The Wizard of Oz (I've seen it a million times, but it always gets better), and City of God.
Favorite fragrance: Lolita Lempicka. It smells like delicious candy and is fun to wear.
Favorite food: I love venison. Sorry, Bambi.
Your typical Saturday night: Movie marathons with friends, complete with pillow fights and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
