Kenneth Ize F/W 2022.23 Paris

The opening look was promising wth its Etro rich hippy impression. Unfortunate it instantly falls short after that. (The grey-on-black argyle/harlequin-pattern belted coat looks nice too. I'd wear it with the cool tennis pullover.)

There’s potential in this sort of ragtag 70s bohemian aesthetic that’s instantly identifiable with Grace Wales Bonner’s easygoing 70s-Crooklyn sensibility. With this, it feels and looks very North African/Algerian in Paris attitude with all the textures/patterns/color-paeltte. But there are simply not enough pieces to impress a confident whole collection. And the velvet looks are poorly constructed. It all seems like such a charming local dressmaker brand— but absoluteky not Paris Week offering.
