BOTTOMS UP: It’s easy to work up a thirst when you come out of retirement and launch a new fashion brand. At least it seems that way for Kenzo Takada, who four years ago “retired” the now LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned Kenzo house he founded only to return last year with a line called Gokan Kobo. The energetic Japanese-born, Paris-based designer has created special packaging for cans and bottles of Coca-Cola Light (that’s French for Diet Coke) that are emblazoned with hearts and “love.” The drinks — to be sold in France and Holland — also feature the flower that is Takada’s family seal and the symbol he uses for Gokan Kobo. Takada plans to open his first Gokan Kobo boutique in the former Kugel antiques gallery on the Rue Saint Honoré some time this spring.
