Britney Spears had some harsh advice for her hubby regarding his nascent singing career: Don’t get your hopes up.

Kevin Federline recently brought home some music he’d recorded and he played it for Spears, according to the new issue of In Touch Weekly.

His efforts were “greeted with hurtful laughter from his superstar wife, who was unimpressed,” reports the mag. “She said his debut CD might sell ‘a hundred, maybe a thousand’ copies if he was lucky,’” an “insider” told the mag, who added, “Kevin looked really hurt.”

 Gotta love her honesty.

Aww... I can't picture Kevin ever showing any EMOTION.

^ He's too funny looking to be a rock star..... and how are you supposed to get any credibility from being Britney Spears' husband...... :innocent:

perhaps brittany subconsciously realizes what a lemon kevin is

 is there ever going to be a way to get rid of him :innocent:

There are many ways I can think of... :boxer:

too bad none of them are legal :innocent:

I think the guy is realllly pathetic. Ew.

i hate it when people think just because they are "famous" they can do anything: singing, acting, designing...

I agree JJ.. my stepfather played 'football/soccer' for italy in his youth.. and he tried to do some terrible commercials and a movie that bombed as he has zero talent in acting..

the good thing is though, that he realizes what an idiot he was being. but its hard to imagine brittany or p.diddy (whatever his name is now) to realize that their fragrance or whatever they are hawking is silly..

There are many things Kevin Federline apparently can't do...for example, be a rapper, be a fashion icon, be a rocker, be a good husband and father.....:innocent:

^^ I wonder how they know. I mean it wasn't like they were sitting right there.

I wonder who actually reported this... like... who was it that was in the room with them... or was it Brit that told somebody about it? Eh, doesn't matter, just... er.. interesting.

THE RAP ON K-FED: KEEP YOUR DAY JOB AS MR. SPEARS

November 3, 2005 -- KANYE West he's not. He's not even Vanilla Ice. K-Fed, aka Mr. Britney Spears, aka ex-backup dancer Kevin Federline, may have more time to be Mr. Mom after he drops his rap record next year. A clip of his first single, "Y'All Ain't Ready," posted on producer Disco D's Web site, displays lame lyrics mixed with the usual rap bravado.

That's exemplified in the following lyrics, which cleverly rhyme hate, straight, 2008, wait and date:
"My prediction is that y'all gonna hate me and this style we create straight 2008; but I know that you really can't wait, cuz people are always asking me when's the release date?"
But the chorus cries out for ridicule: "Back then they called me K-Fed; but you can call me daddy instead."
The beats are kind of catchy, if derivative, and the synthetic swirls bouncing around the back sound like a pinball machine under water.
The record may help lift his wife Britney out of her postpartum doldrums. According to In Touch, the pop tart was "unimpressed" at her hubby's efforts, which she "greeted with hurtful laughter," said an insider. "She said his debut CD might sell might sell a hundred, maybe a thousand copies, if he was lucky."

At least Britney won't have to worry about her 27-year-old husband going on tour. As it is, Federline has continued to party while Britney stays home with their new baby in Malibu.
The sample, which clocks in just under a minute, was taken off Disco D's site quickly, but resurfaced on Stereogum.com. "I have produced a whopping nine songs with the man," Disco D said. "They are all straight 2008 BANGERS. Y'all ain't ready."

Disco D is also known as mixtape D.J. David Shayman, who produced "Ski Mask Way," a track on 50 Cent's "The Massacre." According to reports, K-Fed's album, "The Truth," is due in 2006 (not in "straight 2008").

OMG he's such a dork  :yuk:

this is yuck :yuk:
He overrated himself... not because he's the hubby of britney spears means he can sing..
what he should really do is help britney taking care of their baby. So soon after brit could make some money again, us here won't hear any wacko news about his album!:lol:
