This would have been much better presented without the fencing masks. They really take away from the pretty dresses. But then, I'm a fencer, so the masks remind me of smelly sweat... not very complimentary with haute couture. Maybe if they used vintage masks instead?

The dresses are nice but the fencing masks are ridiculous. I have to agree that they distract from the beauty of the collection.

The dresses itself are very interesting and well-made... The materials are rather strange, but in a good way! I agree, the masks are awkward...

I like the gold dress! :woot: And the rest of the collection too were pretty eye catching, avant garde yet completely wearable! A good marriage of style and design.

The fencing masks seem so forced. Dior's HC collection had an equestrian theme, but all things equestrian were implied. This is more of an in-your-face kind of style.

to me this is the best arabic designer presentation of the season, it's more mature than Zuhair Murad & Chakra.
