by JAKI on Mar 17, 2015 • 7:41 am
Less than a year ago 17-year-old Kiarra Jeromin was scouted by AZALEA Models through Instagram and just last month she was signed by one of Australia’s leading agencies IMG Models. This fresh face from regional South Australia has already been spotted in campaigns for local labels casper&pearl and couture + love + madness, as well as on the front cover of TEO Magazine.
Fashion writer Jaki Woods chats with Jeromin about her plan to pursue a modelling career overseas and her ultimate dream to walk for Victoria’s Secret.
TUS: How were you first discovered as a model?
Jeromin: I was fortunate enough to be found via Instagram. [Spy her account at @Kiarrajean].
What have been your favourite moments as a model so far?
Meeting new people is definitely the best bit.
What was your reaction when you found out you had been signed with IMG Models?
I was really excited, knowing that the most successful models are also signed with them.
If you could model for any designer or feature in any magazine, who would it be?
Definitely Victoria’s Secret, not just for the recognition but to meet all the girls and see what goes on behind the scenes.
Where would you like to see your modelling career take you?
Definitely overseas somewhere, being successful and still loving the industry.
Models can become known for their off-duty looks. How would you describe your style?
Relaxed and summery; I love anything in a print!
What are your plans for 2015?
To continue pursuing my dreams as a model and moving higher up in the industry.
