Kim Noorda

good on her for speaking up!! that is the ugly side of the business. good on her agency for noting the issues and pushing kim to address it (that said i hope it wasn't to take advantage of the changing tide and the trends....but that's the business too)! it's still a great step forward. proud of kim

Kudos to Kim for being so honest about this sad issue.......I only hope this does not affect her career in any way, but can't help thinking that it will.

^^it won't. it hasn't. i just read the article more in-depth and i have to say that to be this intimate and exposed is more than courageous, it's valiant!! kim should be proud. i hope this display of endurance will strengthen kim when she meets her next challenge. and to think a revelation like this might help someone else. autheticity like this is so cool

^^ I don't think it'll affect her negatively at all. Now seems like a time that a lot of girls are speaking out against it, and there is power in numbers. Even if it does hurt her career, it's good to see she seems to be doing well with or without modeling. It is really surprising coming from her though, she still seems really thin. This comment struck me: "On the Internet there are no positive reactions to how I looked. . . ."

Kim-if you're reading this, you and your body are absolutely beautiful!

i won't comment about the article for an obvious reason
i'll just say that i love kim so much and she's such an intelligent (and shy) girl, i really hope she feels better now.

beautiful beautiful picture, hope there's more :)

I'm going to wait to buy Vogue, I prefer to read it on the page instead of the computer...

There would be so much to say about what she says in this article.
Very courageous of her to allow this to be published.

Too bad only one pic, i hope she did more shoot in this session with Bruce Weber that will be released in the future.

Go Kim, you're the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's weird to get an insight into the intimate life and struggles of someone we don't personally know but yet appreciate and feel familiar with by dint of checking her thread on TFS.
I wish I was more fluent in english to express how this article moved me and how it made me love and respect Kim even more.
There's a part where she mentions negative comments on internet when she started getting in better shape. I hope she will also find out about all the positive things people have to say here about her healthier look and this courageous and admirably honest piece.

Take care Kim !

The only thing I don't understand, where are her interviews???? We've just seen that first one with her agent. I would like to see more of "talking" Kim.

checked a few pages and didn't see it (sorry if this is a repost)

More like half of the female population that is. There are major differences within that section though.
I'm really glad Kim has opened up. It takes a lot of courage to do that. But it takes even more courage to admitting you have a problem and ask for help. It's not a shame.

i just read Kim's journal for Vogue and i am shocked. I had no idea how real this thing was i thought it was only isolated cases.. i'm appalled that her period actually stopped because of it, i really hope this shape issue incurs some sort of change to stop this!
