Amen to that. I mean, I love their music, but I love/d them too, and partly because they seemed the type to not care or be into all that mainstream hullabaloo, like "Twilight", for example. To be into what everyone else is into, just kind of makes them one of a crowd, and dare, I say, a bit boring.

I could care less about them being into Twilight or being friends with the spawns of Disney. I'm more annoyed by Twilight itself and wish it would piss off already.

Amen to that. I mean, I love their music, but I love/d them too, and partly because they seemed the type to not care or be into all that mainstream hullabaloo, like "Twilight", for example. To be into what everyone else is into, just kind of makes them one of a crowd, and dare, I say, a bit boring.

True, people seem to to forget that being an artist and in this case rock artists, is a concept, it's not just the music is an whole imaginary that goes together with it. And when you seem them willingly being part of the most overhyped phenomenon in recent times, it's at least for me... very disappointing.
