There's actually some really gorgeous pieces of outerwear in this collection, but the problem is they're quite derivative.

This all just blends into the likes of GCDS, Glenn Martens/Diesel, Blumarine, Miu Miu and some others, and frankly I'm getting sick of it. The push of the y2k aesthetic is beginning to make the wearer look infantile and I'm hoping this poor spoof of a rather complex era is given the boot soon.

I am enamored by the jackets in look 9 and 16, don't get me wrong because if they fell on my lap I'd take them, but I can also see the exact collections and designers it is riffing on because this collection isn't pushed far enough.

A mish mash of the things they just like and also things that are so dominant in fashion today that this feels a bit juvenile. And I'm afraid that they're designing themselves into bit of a corner as opposed to cementing an identity/point of view.

Perhaps a tangent, but I wish she kept her brand name as "Charlotte Knowles" instead of changing it to KNWLS. KNWLS oddly cheapened the brand for me, while Charlotte Knowles looked better and sounded more expensive when it rolls off the tongue.

I didn't even connect the dots with this!

I will admit when I first saw the KNWLS, in that type face, I thought it had something to do with Beyoncé and a Rihanna-Fenty-LVMH situation was gonna happen again...
