Drawing inspiration from faded flowers, worn objects and native clothing, Koi sculpts beauty out of imperfection. Her process is highly intuitive and visceral. She admits, "I don’t like to follow any rules; it is much more inspiring to make clothes my own way. It’s like reconstructing a jig-saw puzzle; I'm not certain what the outcome will be until the product is finished."
