Are there any k-drama fans on tFS? K-dramas all the rage in Asian communities in the US and in Asia. They're different from American tv in that k-dramas are filmed with a pre-determined amount of episodes, so it doesn't drag on forever.

Sometimes k-dramas can be rather exaggerated, over-the-top, tear-inducing, cringeworthy soap operas but they're super fun to watch when one suspends their disbelief.

Currently, I'm addicted to the Korean version of Boys over Flowers: http://www.viikii.net/channels/goto/hanayoridangokversion

I am a big k-drama fan, particularly because I am trying to Korean and dramas are really helpful in that. I just finished watching 'Love Marriage', with Kim Min Hee :p

i used to watch k-dramas when i was a pre-teen but got fed up with all the tears and the 'rich hotel emperor's daughter with cancer and the poor shoe shine boy love affair'.
some are rather good. i find the two korean characters in 'lost' and their story to be quite like a k-drama in itself except americanized. which was quite funny and interesting in concept.

^ It can be like that especially with winter sonata, autumn tale, girls always seem to have leukemia:innocent:..so I usually watch comedies now

mak de mug en young hae shee
lol i hope you can read that but i absolutely love that show!! so funny

i watched you are my destiny religiously when it was on. i watched the first couple of episodes of boys over flowers but i just can't stand that show. some of the lines just make me cringe!!
