Veronica Mars now is getting 7 episodes instead of the 3 they were assigned to! The full 9 would be nice but 7 is better than nothing!

what do you mean? there's not going to be a full season?

No they were originally going to have only 13 episodes and then see if the series would be cancelled, but now CW has given Veronica Mars 7 episodes, so there is going to be 20 episodes for this season. They are still trying to figure out if the series should be cancelled or not due to bad ratings. A full season usually consists of 22 - 24 episodes, two more episodes could still be bought.
