I like the idea but no so much the actual pieces.

absolutely incredible in my opinion!. :o the sheer fabrics...the use of little details like the fringe, the metal studs and the wood pieces...the colour palette, the layering... it is all fantastic! i love the fit of the pieces and those wooden bangles too...

there is so a perfect amount of restraint being exercised here imo...everything looks flawless and there are so many interesting details and accessories but nothing is overdone.... the quality looks beautiful - i am really impressed..

The collection was shown in a church :buzz: I love it, I finally love Krzysztof :buzz:

I think hes one of the most interesting designers to emerge out of London Fashion week.

I see African inspiration in this and I wish he used the fringe more.

Some of it is really good but the end is a bit matronly.

He's talented nonentheless and I predict he'll be at the helm of some big house in the future ;)

i KINDA like this collection, looks a bit mysterious & futuristic.:)
every cream piece is stunning.

kind of similar approach in aesthetics as his compatriot katarzyna szczotarska. although this is a definitely more directed toward evening.

I don't know if this bothers anyone else, but a lot of these collections I see from NYFW and LFW are based on trimmings - fringes, feathers, pailletes, studs, origami pieces of decoration. It's a very "Etsy" kind of approach, I mean, Etsy is great, little bits and pieces added on to basic shapes can beautiful, but designers need to go a level further to strike at the imagination. This is "drawing board" design vs. actually working on the clothes on a mannequin form, i.e. you sketch out the pattern and it almost completely translate into 3D. There's no sculpting involve, or working out shapes or colour or material collages 3 dimensionally.

For example, the peplum is back but a lot of designers just add on a little skirt thing to the nip-waist. A truly good designer, like Thierry Mugler, would cut up some curved seams and do an aerodynamic peplum with an interesting shape. It takes a lot more thinking and skills to do it, but this is what elevates the designer to designer status.
