how does the sizing for tsubis work? if i'm a 26-27, what size would i be in the SUPER SKINNY ZIP JEANS?

tsubis do generally shrink a bit after being washed, but once you wear them again they stretch out again.

just wanted to update everyone, please BE CAREFUL in buying TSUBI WORN GREY LEAN BEANS on eBay.

there are now fakes in the worn grey wash in the lean bean cut. im trying to find more pictures etc to let everyone know how to spot a fake.

^^ Yeah, that's probably the best way to shrink them. Just remember to wash and dry inside out so they don't fade as much, especially if they're the black skinnies.

I can't believe they've got fake lean beans now! Honestly, people these days... Don't they have anything better to do and can't they come up with their own ideas? I think people really should try to avoid buying Tsubis on eBay unless it's the only place they can get it from. And from there, you should be extra, extra careful. Ask for tags, receipts, etc; an honest seller will tell you these things. If not, then it's not worth wasting your time and money.

thanks for the advice on shrinking. i'm going to try to shrink them a little, because they tend to stretch and become looser when i wear them, and i would like them a bit tighter.

we are getting a whole shipment of the new fall tsubis in at my store!! i am soo excited.. i already have one pair of the scooter in vintage denim on layaway right now. and we just got the sunglasses in & i got myself a pair! the little case it comes with is awesome.

So I've found the inseam of Tsubis to be about 32". I'm about 5'9", and the jeans fall a little short on me (just by a slight bit). I have a pair of Scooters and it doesn't look awkward at all, but I have a pair of the Skinny Zips and they don't quite hit the ball of my foot. I've tried wearing them with the bottom zipper up and down and it's still short. I just had to get that out since it saddens me a bit that the skinny zips are a bit too short

hello tsubi friends!

I wear a size 25 in superfine, sass & bide, miss sixty, and a size 26 in acne denim. I want to purchase a pair of tsubi lean beans in vintage indigo. Most of the online sites say that tsubi runs small and that i should size up.... So, should i order the lean beans in size 8 or size 7? i was able to try on a pair of lean beans in size 8 and they seem to fit me well. But I'm afraid they'll stretch out. Should I go with the size 8 or size down to 7 in case they stretch??

madison- i would get a 7 or even 6- i wear a 26/27 in other brands and an 8 in tsubis- they do strech-

i think my perfect size in the mens jeans are a 29, which i dont think they do. I have a 30 that are a bit big, and just got a 28 thats a bit snug...i just hope they stretch a bit so they will be perfect.

does tsubi do a 29 in mens jeans?

trepidationdream, heaps of models wear Tsubis and they'd definitely fall short on them! Don't worry too much; I'm sure it doesn't look that bad.

cavanaugh, I think they do make a 29 in Tsubis but I'll check it out and get back to you on that.

gemmaheart, you could probably fit the size 6 in the skinny legs.

cavanaugh---I have never seen Tsubis in a 29. I wear a 28 in pretty much all jeans, and have to say that my 28 Tsubis have stretched out like crazy. They are a little big on me now, and I kind of wish I could have sized one more down. My point in saying this is that I think if you got a 28 after only a wear or two they would probably fit you like a 29 would. .

i went to the tsubi store in nyc yesterday & they have awesome washes in their lean beans & zip jeans.. man oh man! i wish i had the money to get all of them.

gemmaheart, you're welcome! As most SAs will tell you, Tsubi denim (for the skinny legs) stretches... My cousin is a 6 in the skinny legs as well (the 8 is way too big for her). She had a bit of trouble getting into them at first but after a couple of wears, they fit her perfectly.

trepidationdream, you're most welcome! I actually saw someone today wearing jeans that were a tad short on her but she was a short girl. It looked quite cute with her ballet flats! I'm sure you'll look fine!
