Kylie Jenner

This gray dress or if its a long shirt looks cute on her....a bit short...but cute.. :)
but i have to say i would never guess she is 17 going 18...she looks around 25ish

Cute dress, the belt is not necessary and love the shoes.

TREVOFASHIONISTO--I would not call anyone trying to find themselves, specially with the publics eye on the them, disgusting. Ever. Kylie is not doing anything different that a million other teen girls are doing. I was that teen girl, with less money, trying to look older. Wearing too much makeup, dressing older and acting like I knew everything and my mother was oppressive and not cool. I grew up and realized she was right, she and I laughed over it when I got older and I cherish what she taught me now that she's no longer with me. Will Kylie change and she gets older? Who knows. What I do know is it will be interesting to watch.

Well, at 18 the main problems are what to wear and where you're going tonight. So why not?
That is so true. I miss those easy days.

Today is her 18th birthday..... :)

I think she's being marketed as a product, replicating the family formula, but with a teenage twist. The idea that she represents values of finding your identity or that she's just rebelling with all the resources at her disposal... proper rebellion would be some form of 'keeping it real' by refusing the spotlight.

As Kim moves into a more mature phase of her life, the family brand is diversifying its appeal by getting the media to concentrate on the younger members, with Kendall and Kylie really coming to the fore.

If a typical teenage experience is being hyper-aware of your worth as a product, and being aided by those around you to capitalise on it, at least she'll have enough money for a celebrity therapist, who'll probably have their own range of products to promote.

But judging by the superficial sheen of instagram glamour, everything's fine, it's just young people wearing a lot of lipstick.

tigerrouge, I think you absolutely nailed it. Kim is now going to focus on the kiddie thing (she'll be branding and launching lots of child-related products in the near future I reckon). It's clear that the whole family is positioning Kylie to be the new Kim. Her life is clearly very orchestrated and unusual. What I'm curious to know is, the extent to which she is in on it? She's obviously not a child anymore and I doubt she is being 100% exploited.

Curious side note, Tyga was said to be doing badly financially because of label issues, so how on earth did he buy that $350k Ferrari? My guess is, Kris paid for it (she's his new manager no?).

Anyhow, they have a lot of money, yay for them, but the whole show (I mean their lives, not the actual TV show) gives me the creeps sometimes.

It's so SO lazy. Like "well, washing my hands of this" and she didn't even do a very good job with Kylie. It's so sad. This poor little girl :(

I agree with all of you guys who commented above me about all the stuff in regards to Kylie

oh im not saying she isn't doing what other teens are doing. i did the older guy thing as well, but the thing is i wasn't doing it in public let alone flaunting it like its cute and aspirational. If my mom had known she (and my dad) would have killed me, also it was stupid and immature. She has the ability to get guidance. Her mom is not the right role model for any of that. You keep mentioning money, then why wont she use it to be a trailblazer like Tavi, Amandla, and Willow? What social issues has she voiced her opinion on? I mean people are listening to her, no matter how vapid she comes across. What has she done as a celebrity to push her voice besides lip and butt plumpers? I wish i had as much money as her at that age to use it as a platform instead of a joke. I don't think she'll change, she loves being sexy and this is her new market that Kris is placing her in. She is nothing more than a useless product used to promote pointless stuff, and thats what is the saddest.

Yummy looking cake. She's 18, I remember 18. Enjoy, it goes by so fast!

There's something so disheartening about this statement.

Really? My dad said the same thing about me when I turned 18
I think it was just a sweet little message, but I guess it could mean something more!

Anyway, apparently Tyga has been sued twice now for not paying his rent which is like 20,000+ and yet he bought Kylie a 320,000 car. Hmm.

He also apparently gave her his ex's old car.

Willow Smith a trailblazers? :lol:You are kidding, right?

Because Kylie is in the public eye, she should have an opinion on social issues? What's wrong with being vapid and enjoying clothes, boys and makeup? Frankly, I like that she doesn't pretend, or at least I think so, to be all I am woman, hear me roar fakery.

We are on the outside looking in. People get awfully comfortable with thinking they "know" these celebs. We do not. What we see is what we are given. I'm not going to call the girl a wh*re or her mother a bad role model.

The woman just can't win, can she? Kylie is super independent, she makes her own money, brought a 2 million dollar home before she turned 18. Yeah, her mother did a horrible job.

One of the problems is that, although we don't really know these celebs, the public gets the impression that they do. And the Kardashians have actively pursued giving off that impression: we've seen time and again the alibi of "we're so open and honest" to avoid disclosing various private matters (the build-up to Kylie's lip injection admittance was a perfectly planned media campaign).

Her life has been bartered for intensely public scrutiny and consumption, and she never had a choice to potentially live life any other way. Everyone's lifestyle is different, but hers just seems incredibly intense and sad. But like you said, we don't really know her. All we can do is observe and discuss. But that's exactly what they want us to do, isn't it? And we will continue to do just that, probably for the rest of this young woman's life.

That was not a jab at Kylie

She doesn't pretend? She literally is turning in Black Chyna 2.0  She wants to be just like her sister and date a black guy because its cute. I know more than you would think, so I don't think my judgements necessarily are coming from the outside. What she portrays in front of the cameras is exactly what she is. I don't believe there is any more to her then what we see.

Also, I think all of us would have been given the same opportunities of independence had our sisters and mom built an empire for us to capitalize on at our disposal. Thats like me taking the credit for graduating college and not paying loans knowing my mom set up my savings accounts for me when i was a child... Also i never called her a wh*re, and shes even admitted her mom is not really the mother figure and that Khloe is...

Im done discussing it because im going to feel how i feel about her, and you're going to continue soaking up every Kardashian/Jenner moment.
