Laceup jazz shoes

The Oh Deer version looks pretty much like this from Marc Jacobs. I bought it from yoox.com, but I had to return it since it runs a full size large and I am a 36 so I couldn't get a smaller size

It is available in black, white, silver and grey.

I KNEW you would love them!! They are great arent they?! I really love mine too although I havent been able to wear them out yet because of all this stupid snow.

I hate the snow too! My lace-up shoes have too high heels, so they are definitely not ment to be used in winter. That would be very risky, since all the streets are covered with ice and snow. There's one more reason to wait for the spring

im gutted after all that hunting i went into Fenwicks today (british chain store) and they have black, black patent and white jazz shoes for a lovely price of £20.

ah well i have my shoes now so i must not complain:rolleyes:

I don't care for the smooth, plain leather ones (like the Oh Deer kind). They look chunky and funny to my eyes.

I do like a streamlined wingtip or brogue style with a beautiful patina or two-tone color scheme, preferably with a pointed toe. Very sophisticated. But I don't know if those kind are so much jazz shoes as they are simply menswear-inspired shoes.

^ Yeah, I agree. I prefer the detailed, menswear-inspired ones rather than the smooth jazz shoe styles.

i just got another vintage pair. in tan leather. more menswear inspired. very 80s. but also a summer shoe because 3/4 of the shoe is a tiny-holed openwork leather mesh. not woven but little square holes. i love them.
