Laetitia Casta

She was looking FAB' yesterday aux Césars.

She was wearing vintage YSL - for those who said it's was vulgar etc.
;)

The top of the dress was a bit modified apparently.

i know a lot of people are really down and inbetween about her outfit but I LOVE IT :woot: OMG! I don't think it has anything to do with daring just style imo:heart:

after a good night sleep i hope these pictures @ Les César will be just a nightmare!
Just to remember the old good time

So?

The dress looks beautiful and daring on the models. On Laetitia, it looks trashy, ill-fitting and plain ugly.
Her ridiculous hairdo doesn't help.

As much as do not like the dress i don't think Laetitia looked trashy! It was way "too much" and not a real good idea to wear that dress (especially when she breast feeding) for the Césars but not trashy!
Or we do not have the same definition of "trash"?

She wore the same kind of dress 8 or 9 years ago for a Lolita Lampika fashion show and she was looking fabulous

After 3 babies her body is not the same anymore (still freaking gorgeous tho:blush:) I think there is a time for everything in life and it's maybe time to play with mystery and suggestion for Laetitia?

My definition of trashy is when extreme vulgarity and inappropriateness collides. So yes, I did find her attire trashy.

Totally agree with this, and her body being different (not bad, just different) is one of the reason why the dress doesn't work.
She looks gorgeous in the Lolita show you posted, but that was another time when her body (especially her breast) looked younger and perkier and she had that aura of freshness and innocence that meant she could pull off the most licentious outfits with class.
Now it just comes off as a bit desperate to be honest.

More of the atrocity:

Seriously.....she has gotta be kidding wearing that:shock: That is truly awful and hideously unflattering.:yuk:

Cesar film awards 2010

Paris on February 27, 2010 on Canal+, the Yves Saint Laurent-clad actress Laetitia Casta
announced that the Cesar of best supporting role went to Niels Arestrup for a prophet.

Sculptural in our memories as a Cesar award, the Yves Saint Laurent spirit,
thanks to Laetitia Casta, glided in the theatre of Chatelet, intact, alive, prophet
revolutionary as the events of May '68, all terribly sensual.

Vote, read the translation of the Laetitia Casta's speech then watch the Canal+ video.

The final countdown

For Canal+ Laurent Weil interviewed YSL-clad Laetitia before the Cesar film awards.

I think that she and her body look great, but I would not have worn it to the Cesars, either, I would never have dared to. But I am sure she was thinking of something, a kind of statement that perhaps I do not understand as a not-French. Or she wanted to show how good motherhood makes her look. and as a mother myself I ask why should breastfeeding not show? It is the best you can give to your children. So the comments about her breast (and breast-feeding) are not really nice and false in my opinion (as she looks great), if you do not like the look you should say so but without using such an insulting language. This is really something that should have no place in forums like this. There are so many bad and really rude internet pages all over the world (as people seem to have nothing else to do), we should try to keep a certain standard here, I think.

^actually if you read the comments, no-one implied she had a bad body.

My own comment about her breast no being as perky as they were when she was 20 is hardly insulting but rather an objective remark (no woman can be expected to have the same body after 3 kids and breastfeeding). The fact that you would consider this to be an insult is baffling to me (if I say her face looks different than when she was 18, is that an insult too?).

The issue there is not whether breastfeeding is good for your kids (this isn't a medical forum), but whether the outfit she chose was flattering to her body, tasteful, appropriate and stylish.
Imo, it's a definitive no to all this.

Clin d'oeil [Wink] from Quebec

^ Thanks Dagmar. I agree with you about the fact that Laetitia looks great and
people should moderate their comments.
I liked that Laetitia wore such a magnificent gown by YSL exceptionally for the Cesars.
