funny you mentioned how Lakshmi can be versatile. this passed NYFW s/s09 I was walking behind her exiting after a show and suddenly hordes of photographers was snapping away at her, of course i got blinded by the light.
and do you know who they thought she was? An actress! I heard one of the photographers asked who she was, another said, it's some actress. I had to interject and tell them it was a model, 'Lakshmi Menon' before I went to my car. lol

its such a pity that she hasn't been given a vogue india cover(after the swimsuit one)..coz i rather see her on it..than
