I was kind of surprised they put her on the cover considering Vogue India has had mainly actresses on their covers as of late.

However, this cover is beautiful...isn't if funny that she has given Vogue India their two best covers, yet they still rarely use models on the cover.

I agree..she'd rock it! If i'm not right Kangana graced the first Indian Vogue cover, along with Lakshmi, in the fold out page..and they also did and Ensamble campaign together.. They don't look alike at all..but they're gorgeous in their own way..i'd love to see them work together again, though.

I doubt Riccardo has 'forgotten' Lakshmi. He doesn't strike me as a fickle designer who skips from one model to the next...he seems much more loyal to his girls. He's very much like Tom Ford or JPG in that respect.

He's not like Karl, who likes to throw away favorites like banana peels.

Oh, I didn't mean to insinuate anything of the like. I was really only expressing a little bit of disappointment, because I like Lakshmi + Givenchy (and Lakshmi/MCB + Givenchy) very much, so I hope this isn't all we've seen of that collaboration. But iaw/ pmegha in that it's prudent for Lakshmi to branch out and work with other designers.
