Lanvin F/W 2004 Paris

A decent collection, but nowhere near his SS04 excellence.

Some looks that I like:

you are welcome,
i also adore this kind of fur,
this kind of fur is very soft and looks a bit like 'curly hair'
it used to be very popular during the 30s etc
(fave fur of my adorable grandmother) and its very good
for people alergic to fluffy furs
( I can't breath or speak when wearing fur, i feel fur 'hair' will choke me)

it's an old & 'lost' material i think it may be very expensive
you may need to check the name if it is the same in English

i'm not sure if Hererra has used this kind of fur?
do you have a photo?

sorry lena! i meant a/w2003

i love these furs as well... i will see if the name is the same in english! i just never knew what it was called. i have seen so many vintage pieces in it... drawings, etc... but i never knew the name... so thanks again!

here is the pic...

:woot: wow, looks like it's the same kind of astrakan fur, adorable

i love these heels! lanvin makes the BEST round toe heels ever.

it's like mongolian lamb, only sheared, i believe...i have a faux fur coat like this from agnes b.

i think it's the same thing... :flower:

this suit with the rhinestones is amazing!

oh... i see how it would be sheared.... would it be similar to a persian lambs wool if it wasn't sheared?

this suit with the rhinestones is amazing!
it really is.. and yet so modern.

this should give some ideas to Herr Carl,
this is where Chanel should be now in order to be fresh...

the details of the rhinestones made me pass out. well, not really... but i love it... karl needs to update for chanel. sometimes he strays so far from what chanel is... and only ends up in an 80's highway flashback film of some sort.
