The blue ones would have to be my favorite

^ Someone did, they wrote about it a few pages back. They dont have the high ones either.

The higher ones are 1000x better, but I still like the lower ones. Are they worth $900 though, should I still get them?

I think you should still invest in tho shorter platformed version. They are still beautiful shoes in my opinion (though you are right the higher version is 1000x better). I think if you ended up not getting them you would regret it as popular Lanvin items are somewhat of a rarity on ebay.

What's the difference between paying $650-700 and $900 if you really love them?

lmao.. crazy IMO.

I'd pay $400 the most. But if you have the money, I guess go for it.

can someone walk me through which styles are being produced and which shoes were made specifiacally for the show?

in all honesty, i feared this might happen...:(

>has anyone bought a pair?

pastry, read back a few pages. i got a pair in the red open toe pumps from the boutique in paris (which was a drama to get), under the impression they were the runway versions. from what they have told me, the runway versions are not being produced at all, and the turqoise patent leather was not produced either.

^ yeah...i just finished readin the thread..this is the biggest disappointment:(

IMO, if you can justify $400, there is no difference in justifying $900. these are luxury items, i look at them as art, and i think they're worth it. i'm very passionate about fashion and shoes especially, and to me they are collector's items.

everyone has different incomes and what they see as reasonable will vary greatly from the next person.
to one person, a coach bag may be their extravagent purchase, to the next ,a louis vuitton. and to the lucky few, a $30,000 hermes alligator birkin may seem downright reasonable.

lucky few being 1% of the population I think we're being pretty reasonable here:innocent:

what do you think of these?

p.s. iluvfashion,
i just saw the t-strap sandals you got at barneys. they are with the shorter heel and were $800. they were still really nice though, not as dramatic as the high ones are, but still really hot.

That is what I am hoping s54. The SA in NYC said they measured 5 inches. I am not so sure though.

I cannot wait and I hope that I will not be disappointed

please stick to discussing the Lanvin platforms only. Any other discussions should be taken up via PMS.
