At a preview in Paris, Alber Elbaz said he focused on daywear at Lanvin for prefall. “But not conventional daywear,” he noted, adding that he’s striving to “bring fun back to fashion.” Thus jogging pants were a key look. Working the alluringly chic side of sporty, one version of the silhouette came in a hammered satin with tuxedo striping and was worn with a simple satin bustier top. Other styles were done in wool jersey and knits, paired with toppers such as a goat-fur trenchcoat that flared from the hips like a dress.

It's like he took a grandma's wardrobe and completely reformed it, adding some young and fun elements to the clothes

Drop crotch pants are THE WORST, so I'm hating this so far.

this is fashion with a capital F...

i can't help loving it...

Yes. A lot of this looks so comfortable and chic. Loving the long skirts and flats.

I love it. It makes me happy to see so many great clothes after the disastrous (IMO:wink:) S/S 2014 RTW collection. And I agree with jeffandtheworld, the styling is fantastic.

It's fantastic! Very chic and A LOT better than S/S 2014.

I always hate fur coats, but that brown fur coat is the best piece in the entire collection.

I could definitely do without some of the styling, but once I get past that it's really an extremely wearable collection of subtly interesting pieces. I think making walking that fine line between wearable and unique would have been difficult for someone else, but Elbaz pulled it off quite well.
