I just love that it's all so wearable. As an older woman, it's wonderful to find such beautiful clothing that doesn't require abs of steel.

I didn't particularly love it either, when I saw the collection posted at Style.com, but after seeing the entire Resort Collection book at the Lanvin boutique, I don't mind it so much anymore. A lot of tackiness comes from the styling, and the each piece is actually very Lanvin and beautiful.
I was surprised to like a lot of the denim collaboration pieces with Acne, so much so that I reserved a few! LOL There were very pretty signature Lanvin dresses Alber has done in the past(i.e. huge bagwing sleeved dresses, corset dress from Hiver 05, etc)done in 2 shades of denim. I'm definitely getting the short denim trench with batwing sleeves in darker shade.
Also, the wedding line was PHENOMENAL.
