Hm. Yeah, these don't work. The compositions feel cluttered and the placement of the bags make me feel claustrophobic, in comparision to menswear that reads quite orderly. Maybe it's the feminist in me coming out, but all three of them look like scared women under the male's gaze. If they were portrayed with the same sort of austerity the menswear have, with a little additional attitude, it would probably get somewhere. But without a doubt, this is how majority of the world like to see women. Not to mention, it looks like bad acting. Even Saskia who I usually like, doesn't work for me at all. Majority rules, Karlie is the worse for sure. Even the two in post #42 where it looks as if Meisel is trying to orchestrate some drama in the frame reads as the opposite, and quite kitsch.
