I was just listening to her 'Miseducation' a few days ago after not doing so for several years. Must've been the 10 year mark that brought on the urge, jokes. But I was both delighted & dumbfounded...it's still one of the best to come out in a long time. I just can't help but think how she in that time or someone like her is needed today in popular music. She was golden in the 90s,I wish she'd come back and comebat all these popular typical sounding and looking girls out today. She proved that a woman with a message, class and unique black beauty can still crossover in a major way. Sadly I haven't seen anything like it since,so sorry I took it for granted a bit.

I think had lots of pressure and is still misunderstood...thus her state of mind today. People build you up just to break you down. But no one is perfect! She is a great artist & should get a second chance. I just hope she realizes that and moves on to bigger and better things.
I remember listening to her album when I was much younger.. and loving it without understanding what she was singing about. I was playing her album earlier this year... and it is timelesss. Of course her messages resonate more with me now... as I can relate on some level... she is one gifted lady!

^.........! Wow,she looks amazing! She really needs to just try the music thing again. BTW,you are so right about her 1st album! I feel that way about most,if not all of her music even when she was with The Fugees. The woman had food for thought. I miss that in popular music today.
