Gorgeous Layla of Basic Models Management is very new to modeling, having just signed with PRM Model Agency/ London earlier this month, after a few months of development in her home country of Singapore. What followed was her very first fashion show experience at London Fashion Week, and now, this former volleyball player who describes herself as „someone who is reckless and not afraid to dream“ is ready for new challenges.

When and how did you start modeling?
This year actually, a few months back! Always liked this idea of being in front of a camera and simply clad in gorgeous outfits! Then one day, I decided to muster all my courage and attend the audition held by my mother agency – tadaaa.

What are your day – to – day activities as a model?
Back home, I would spend my morning lazing around on bed and attend castings in the afternoon. When night falls, I would enjoy some time with my family/ friends.

In your opinion, what’s the hardest thing for a new model?
To get your first job, definitely. Your face is rather new, clients are hesitant to use you.

What are your London Fashion Week impressions?
STRESSFUL all of a sudden, the pace picks up and you find yourself going for tons of castings and worried about not getting jobs.

You seem to be into photography. What do you like capturing the most?
Anything that is beautiful, be it food/ sceneries/ people!

What are your career expectations?
Right now, I do not expect much, but I truly believe in *living the momentttt*
