Leather Boots as Rain Boots?

Hello

Am I the only one who hates rubber boots ? I know they are quite trendy but generally so unconfortable.

I wear my leather boots when it's raining and don't have any leaks even when I walk / play through deep puddles / water.
I even went to venice during a small flood with a pair of pull on leather boots, so I really don't see the interest of rubber ones.

Are you using leather boots as rain boots as well ? or have I just been lucky picking boots which are waterproof ? or is there another reason for rubber wellies ?

leather boots are adorable henny but water interacts with them in a way you dont want them to be interacted with is all ill say
