May 16th was IU's (Lee Ji-Eun) birthday, for she was turning 28 years old. IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment, prepared a huge surprise party for her.

Pictures of Ms. Lee Ji-Eun ("IU") at The 56th Baeksang Arts Awards, on June 5th, 2020, at The Korean International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), 23 km (14 miles) outside Seoul, South Korea.
There was no audience because of the COVID-19 pandemic, only the nominees for the awards categories attended, sitting 2 meters apart from each other. IU was nominated for Best Actress for Television, for her lead role in "Hotel del Luna", too bad she didn't win.

A note on the dress IU wore at the ceremony, GUCCI Spring Summer 2020 heritage GG lamé gown ($3,500 for the short version).

A youthful IU at the time, certainly looks great, but I also like the currently more mature IU.

06/24/2020 -- Congratulations to Ms. Lee Ji-Eun ("IU") for being appointed as one of the ambassadors for South Korea's National Tax Service (NTS), with the ceremony being held at the Seoul Regional Office of NTS.

IU attended The 19th Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival in Seoul, South Korea.
The Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival is a Korean film festival that is held every June in South Korea, since 2002, intended to support young upstart Korean filmmakers.
IU has been appointed as one of the honorary judges at the film festival, along with other famous Korean actors and actresses -- Oh Jung-se (bottom middle), Yoona (top right), Lee Jung-eun (bottom right), and Lee Je-hoon (bottom left).

"Dream" is about a Korean soccer player (played by actor Park Seo-Joon), who coaches a Korean soccer team made up of homeless people, and led them to Homeless World Cup. IU is one of the lead cast members for the film.
