Leg Warmers

i think a modern way towear legwarmers is over bare legs with a pair of manolo blhaniks and pencil skirt to the knee

:woot: Oh, my god Thank so much for the site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw those legwarmers in lucky mag a have been looking everywhere for them.

Ooh, and they have denim legwarmers, too.

No way. But if you want them, I found these at www.girlshop.com.

On the pics posted, the leg warmers were pretty "leg hugging". I prefer mine being a bit more baggy.

I wear mine in cream with a knee lenght dark jean skirt and sport shoes (the Puma ones  ).

I like them, I bought loads of them in the summer. I use to love wearing white ones with a grey jersey gathered skirt and trainers.

The problem is that every try hard in the UK seems to be wearing them so I don't wear them anymore.

I think they look fabulous....on some. It seems guys, more than women, are wearing them and look quite good.

This is the best way I've seen them worn.

Yes it is Lolita*! Shall I get you a consellation prize  :flower:

Actually,I wasn't just talking about the leg warmers in particular but more so the way everything is put together. The way people are wearing them nowadays. Its become very street.

Dracula  Actually he just "sucks" the clothing from the designers racks in Paris ;)

How do you you all feel about this trend which hasn't quite yet died... as well as the arm warmers?

Additionally, does anyone know of any cute places online to get arm/leg warmers?

Thanks!

I think arm warmers are silly. But, I LOVE leg warmers. Although, Im only seeing them done with stripes. That's why Im thinking of making my own.

Hi, i have this really cute micro mini skirt(black) and i want to wear it with some legwarmers.. does anybody have an suggestion/idea for the color ?? Or pictures from the catwalk ,etc.. with girls wearing legwarmers would be welcome too!!
Thanx!! :flower:

any kind of style or colour will be ok with a black micro mini skirt valerie , legwarmers are more street style, not sute if i've seen them on catwalk for fw03 :flower:

I saw a pair of denim legwarmers on the patricia field website a couple weeks ago. they would look great with a micro mini. unfortunately, they must have sold out because i can't find them on in the online store now. but i am working on trying to construct a pair myself -- if you are interested ill let you know what i come up with.

I just love legwarmers, they are so cute and retro! Also, the '80s is very stylish right now. I haven't seen any legwarmers on the catwalk though. I agree that they are also more street style. Personally, I love colourful striped ones. They have some legwarmer looks in Fruits, the book on Tokyo street fashion. This site also sells them: http://www.onatoko.com/categories/collecti...sp?cat=ACCESOCK
