No matter how much you desire it, Leighton is not, and never will be, Blair Waldorf, in dress style, hair style, interests or love life. Leighton is a real life person. Give her some respect already!

And considering that Book Blair got an Audrey-style pixie cut, I don't know why you are fussing so much about what hairstyles Leighton has in her real life, in her off-duty time, when she's not playing Blair. It's called acting: they can very easily wig her up, or add hair extensions, if they don't want Blair to have bangs next season.

I can't wait until GG ends to see the freakout "why can't Leighton be Blair IRL" fans will have when Leighton goes wild with her hair. (In an interview with InStyle, Leighton said if it weren't for GG, she'd be far more experimental with the cut and colour of hair. Which is probably why after every season ends, she lets it go two-toned or blonder.)

I agree, of all the the GG girls she's always been the only one with any substance. Of the entire cast I don't think many of them will really go on to wow if I'm honest. Monte Carlo does look awful but her hair is looking good atm.

The bangs make her look so different! I'll wait for pictures when they're styled to make my judgement. But it does look like she might have the same problem I have whenever I 'freshly' get bangs, how they naturally part in the middle. I'm not a fan of the boho maxi skirt, never have been and never will be.

I watched Country Strong yesterday, and I have to say that there's no doubt that this girl is going to go far all she really needs is that one break. It wasn't a very good movie but she was truly great in it and showed the range she's capable of.

I really hope you are right, I watched Country Strong and I thought she was just really good, and my friend and I agreed that she has a really strong screen presence.

She does look like a totally different person at her concerts. Not bad just different like she could get away with walking down the street and not get noticed.

To the concert pics: She wears that maxi skirt really well. Especially given how petite she is, she could have easily been swallowed by it or looked mumsy, but she owns it!

Since the year is half over, I've been thinking over her outfits and I can't recall one miss. True, I didn't like her People Choice's dress or the Balmain dress that she wore to the MTV Awards, but neither were really atrocious: I just felt they didn't suit her rather than the outfits being awful. (Re: that Marc Jacobs eyesore she wore to the Nashville CS premiere last year)

Oh, and Blair did have bangs in season 1. Almost too long to be considered bangs, but she did have them.
