Honestly, I don't understand why everyone believes she's consciously trying to distance herself from Blair (not like it'd be difficult considering how OTT her outfits on the show often are). She doesn't have a particularly defined style and obviously just wears what she likes.

wow that last pic is beautiful eventhough the hair is a bit too much but I think the drama it adds is great too. Her eyes look photoshoped though. I thought her eyes were a lot darker than that?

They always unnecessarily photoshop her (why would you to THAT face!), but this is one of the finer jobs. Glad the freckles are still there. Leighton has freckles, dimples, high cheekbones, and eyebags so they always feel the need to blur everything out when those features make her so expressive and fresh. In candids, screencaps, and behind the scenes, her face and personality really shine through.

Both pictures are indeed really beautiful. I don't mind the "sexy" second pose too much because it's not as overtly sexy as things she's done in the past. (The GQ spread comes to mind). I really loved the first shot - it looks super high fashion. And her face is absolutely stunning. In fact, her face is stunning in both.

I wish there were a tape! If there's anyone in Hollywood that knows how to handle a scandal and still remains famous for the right reasons, it's Leighton.

Anyway, I think she does sexy shoots very well (the RS shoot with Blake, NYT w/ Terry, GQ of course) and this one...
